This scholarship recognizes a graduating senior who exemplifies the qualities of legendary basketball coach, Ed Scollan. This scholarship was founded by one of Coach Scollan's former players who wishes to remain anonymous, but who was profoundly impacted by Coach Scollan and his experience as a member of the Westford Academy boys’ basketball program.  The qualities that Coach Scollan carried on the sideline for over twenty six years helped to produce over 320 wins, but more importantly, hundreds of young men who have become vital members of our community and beyond.  The winners of this award has displayed integrity, sportsmanship, community service and a commitment to the program through hard work and perseverance.
